Independence Day Messages 2016: Independence Day is one of the most noble phase where India attained freedom from the British Empire at the midnight of August 15, 1947. Independence Day is celebrated all over India with lots of Happiness, brotherhood and patriotism. On the eve of Independence Day, President of India addressed to the entire Nation and the Prime Minister hoists the Indian flag at Red Fort in Delhi. Apart from this, 21th gun shots are fired to dignify and honour the occasion. Further the Indian national anthem, “Jana Gana Mana” is sung followed by march past of various divisions of the Indian Armed Forces and paramilitary forces.
