Mr. Dan Marcotte: Chairman
Mr. Marcotte is a Financial Advisor with Mass Financial Group. He has served on the board since 2004. He and his wife, Krista, have five children, the four oldest attend Providence Classical Christian Academy. Dan and his family are members of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, where he serves as elder.
Mr. Randy Taylor: Vice Chairman
Mr. Taylor is an Orbit Analyst for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Randy holds an M.S. in Geology from Indiana University. He has been married to Susan, the Administrative Assistant for Providence Classical Christian Academy, for more than 25 years. Their two school-aged children attend Providence Classical Christian Academy, and one of their children has graduated from the school. Randy is a member of Christ Community Church.
Dr. Erik Herrmann: Secretary
Dr. Herrmann is professor at Concordia Seminary, teaching Church History there
since 2005. Previously he served as an assistant pastor at Timothy
Lutheran Church (LCMS) in St. Louis. He received his M.Div. and Ph.D.
from Concordia Seminary, the latter in Renaissance and Reformation studies.
He and his wife, Aliesha, have five children, the three oldest attending
Providence Classical Christian Academy. They are members of Timothy
Lutheran Church.
Mr. Brandon Booth: Ex-officio Board Member
Mr. Booth is Dean of Dialectic and Rhetoric at Providence Classical Christian Academy. He graduated summa cum laude, with departmental honors, from Hillsdale College with a degree in philosophy and has a master's degree from Concordia Seminary. He and his wife, Liv, have four young children, the oldest two attending Providence Classical Christian Academy. They attend Hope Lutheran Church (LCMS.)
Mrs. Courtney Doctor: Board Member
Mrs. Doctor and her husband, Craig, are currently full time students at Covenant Theological Seminary, each pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. They have four children; the youngest two attend PCCA and the older two are students at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Previously the Doctors lived in Wichita, Kansas where Courtney served seven years on staff at the Classical School of Wichita in a variety of teaching and administrative positions. Courtney and her husband are members of Heartland Community Church (PCA) in Wichita, Kansas and attend Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church (PCA) in St. Louis.
Mr. Tom Egger: Board Member
Mr. Egger is a professor at Concordia Seminary, teaching Hebrew and Old Testament courses there since 2005. Previously, he served as a Lutheran (LCMS) pastor in northwest Iowa. His undergraduate education was in English literature and German, and he is currently completing his Ph.D. dissertation in Biblical Studies. He and his wife, Tori, have six children; the five oldest attend Providence Classical Christian Academy. They are members at Hope Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Katie Gordon: Board Member on Sabbatical
Mrs. Gordon holds a Master of Arts in education from Mills College in
Oakland, California and is currently a student at Covenant Seminary in
St. Louis. Katie and her husband, Eric, have six children, with three
school-aged children attending Providence Classical Christian Academy
and one graduate from the school. She has served on the board since
2000. The Gordons are members of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church (PCA)
and host a small group Bible Study for the church.
Mrs. Laura Ruhrwien Parli: Board Member
Mrs. Parli is Director of Information Systems at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine. She has been a board member since 2005. She holds an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Laura has two daughters, one attending Providence Classical Christian Academy, and the other a 2011 graduate of the school. She and her husband, Ron, attend Central Presbyterian Church (EPC).
Mr. Todd Wagenmaker: Ex-officio Board Member
Mr. Wagenmaker is Headmaster and Teacher at Providence Classical Christian Academy. He holds an M.Div. from Westminster Seminary in California, a Law Degree from the University of Illinois and a B.A. from Calvin College. The three youngest of his six children attend Providence Classical Christian Academy. Two of his older children graduated from the school, and his wife, Julie, teaches first grade at Providence Classical Christian Academy. He is a member of the Presbytery of the Midwest Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
